There is no accessibility button, on purpose

Some sites put a little accessibility widget in the corner that offers to enlarge the text or raise the contrast. We have deliberately not done that.

An overlay asks you to find a control and switch on the version that works for you. It also tends to fight with the screen reader, magnifier or browser settings you already use. The accommodations belong in the page itself, on by default, for everyone, with nothing to discover. That is how this site is built.

Our target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We believe the site substantially meets that standard. We are not claiming perfection, and where we find a gap we will fix it rather than argue about it.

What is built in

• Contrast. Every text color was checked against the surface behind it. Body text sits at roughly 7.4:1 and headings well above that, comfortably past the 4.5:1 that AA asks for.
• Text that scales. Type is set in relative units, so browser zoom and your own font-size setting both work. The layout reflows to a single column down to 320 pixels wide with no horizontal scrolling.
• Keyboard. Everything works without a mouse. There is a skip link to the main content, focus order follows the page, and the focus indicator is a thick high-contrast ring rather than a faint outline.
• Targets. Buttons, links and form controls are at least 46 pixels tall, well past the minimum target size AA requires.
• Forms. Labels sit above their fields and are never replaced by placeholder text. Errors appear next to the field and are gathered into a summary at the top that links straight to whatever needs fixing, announced to screen readers as it happens.
• Motion. The gentle fade as sections come into view is switched off entirely when your system asks for reduced motion. Nothing on the site flashes, auto-plays or moves without you.
• Structure. Real headings in order, real landmarks, real lists, and descriptive alt text on every photograph that carries meaning.
• Without JavaScript. The whole site still reads, and both forms still submit. The application simply becomes one long page instead of six steps.
• High contrast mode. If your system asks for more contrast, borders thicken and text darkens automatically.

Known limits

• If the anti-spam check is enabled, submitting a form requires a Cloudflare Turnstile challenge. It is designed to be accessible and usually invisible, but if it ever blocks you, call us and we will take your details over the phone.
• Documents we send you separately, such as a service agreement, may be PDFs produced outside this website. Ask and we will provide any document in a format that works for you.

If something does not work for you

Tell us and we will fix it, and in the meantime we will get you what you needed another way. Nobody has to fight a website to arrange care.

Please tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what happened. If you use a screen reader, magnifier or other assistive technology, naming it helps us reproduce the problem. We aim to respond within two business days.
